Fun Fact Friday {10}

     This is my last FFF post of my freshman year of college! I can't believe that summer is coming so soon. In Maine our public schools don't get out until the end of June. Seniors get out a little earlier but our graduation last year wasn't until June 10th. This is the first time that I've ever had such an early summer vacation from school and I'm super excited!

1. May is my favorite month! Part of the reason why we stay in school later in Maine is because spring comes much later there. At home, May is the month when buds turn to leaves and flowers. In the South this happened in early April, but I'm happy to be going home soon to experience a "second spring." 
2. I might get some gasps for saying this... but I think that TOMS shoes are kinda ugly. I will say that some people can pull them off (sort of), but they just aren't my style and I will never own a pair. 
3. Today I finished my huge final project for my communications class! It was a 5-6 minute autobiography movie. I spent more time on that then I've ever spent on a project before, so it's such a relief to be done!
4. I have come to find out that cutting my hair has brought back most of the curl that had worn off from my old perm. So instead of going back to my naturally straight hair, my mane is bouncier and frizzier then it was before. 
5. Tomorrow is the annual spring formal dance at my college! I'm very excited- since I'm transferring this will be my only formal here, and my last chance to see a lot of people before going home for the summer.
