PACKING GUIDE: Early Spring Weekend in Nashville.

Today after work I'm leaving for a weekend trip to Nashville with my parents! This will be my first trip to Music City. Everyone I know who has been there has loved it, so it's safe to say Nashville has been very hyped up for me! I'm excited to experience it for myself. I thought that I would share this packing guide in today's post so that y'all could preview my suitcase!

1. Black bodysuit // 2. Sequin jacket // 3. Faith graphic t-shirt // 4. Floppy hat // 5. Black and leopard crossbody {I'm bringing an older one but this one linked is so similar!} // 6. Duster cardigan // 7. Black ripped jeans // 8. Black booties {I'm bringing older pair but these linked are so similar!} // 9. Nameplate gold necklace // 10. Pink crop top // 11. Black jumpsuit // 12. Floral midi skirt //

Nashville is further south than Charlottesville, so I was hoping that the weather would be a bit warmer there this weekend! It turns out it's going to be pretty much the same as the weather we've been having lately: 30s/40s at night, and a high of about 60 in the daytime. Definitely not bad weather for exploring a new place, although I will have to bundle up in the mornings and evenings.

If you've been reading here awhile, you know that my style is typically very bright and colorful, and a mix of trendy and preppy. It's a little bit out of my fashion comfort zone that I've packed so many black and dark pieces for this weekend trip, but I feel like it will work! Nashville style (or what I've gathered of it from following country artists and other fashion influencers who have been) seems to be edgy glam, and maybe even a little hipster. Definitely not as preppy and classic as Charlottesville! I knew that my black ripped jeans were a must to pack, and this also seemed like the perfect time to wear black booties and my black floppy hat. A weekend of edgy glam style also meant that packing my favorite sequin jacket that I wore at NYFW was a must!

Have a wonderful weekend- thanks so much for reading! I'm going to try and be present in the moment with my family this weekend, so I'm not bringing my laptop (!!) and going to try not to spend a lot of time on Instagram while there. Not a full on social-media free trip, but definitely more of trying to live in the moment. I am excited though to share more about Nashville when I return next week. I'm really excited for where we are staying there! 😊

     God Bless,

     xoxo Annaliese
