Affordable & Glamorous Sequin Outfit.

     Even though Fashion Week is associated with expensive designer clothing pieces, I didn't let that deter me from my favorite affordable retailers when I was packing my outfits! Today's blog post features my very favorite outfit that I wore for NYFW, and you won't believe the price point.

     I originally got this fun sequin dress in the fall as a possible option for NYE, and I first styled it in this blog post! I ended up wearing a long dress for my New Year's plans since my plans ended up being a  Black Tie optional event. I was hoping for another reason to wear this, and Fashion Week seemed perfect! A little while after I ordered the dress, I saw a gorgeous matching jacket from Shein as well, and I ordered that so fast! This might be the most extra and over-the-top matching dress and coat ever, but I absolutely love it. I wish I could re-wear this outfit to work... if I could I'd wear it all the time! The only note I'll make is that this dress runs quite big- normally I'm an M in Shein, but this dress is an M and was quite loose on me. But with the belt around the waste and the jacket on top- it worked just fine! 😊

    This is probably one of my favorite Shein outfits that I've ever worn on the blog, and I've worn a lot from there over the past few years! I started shopping at Shein in college, and I think the quality and selection of their items continues to get better and better each year. I have noticed that their price points have gone up slightly as well, but are still very reasonable. Plus- I'd rather pay $25 for a piece of clothing that is higher quality and will hold up better after washes than a $12 item you can only wear once or twice. While I do style Shein outfits often on the blog, I've never done a blog post reviewing Shein as a whole and sharing my shopping tips. I know other bloggers have definitely written about that, but is that a post topic that you'd still like to see from me too?
