Funny sights from the UK.

     I realized last week that there was one last blog post idea that I had from my UK trip that I had never shared here! My parents and I went to England and Scotland on a Trafalgar bus tour over my Christmas break a couple of months ago. I blogged in great detail about the trip here, here and here, but there were a few specific photos that I was saving for this post. :-)

     There were a few things that I saw over the course of the trip that just made me go "What!?"Some of these things might be cultural differences, and some of these things are just plain funny and weird!

1. This was a very weird sign that I saw in a truck stop bathroom on one of our long travel days. I had never heard of "toilet twinning" before... but I thought this was one of the strangest things that I have ever seen in a public restroom!
2. TV guides galore! In the US, I am familiar with TV Guide magazine... and that's about it as far as I know! In England there were so many different magazines devoted to TV listings. I even saw a radio guide magazine during our time there! 
3. This is a dessert menu from a Burger King that we went to in Bath, England. Who knew that at the BKs across the pond the featured dessert would be a belgian waffle?! I'm kinda bummed that I wasn't actually able to try that.
4. Another interesting sight in a truck stop bathroom. I have seen various varieties of portable toothbrushes before, but this was probably the strangest!! When I looked at these things up close through the machine I thought that they resembled gumballs! I'm not sure I would ever trust putting one of those things in my mouth.
5. Here's a casino that I saw in a truck stop (of all places)! Gambling is legal in England and I saw many casinos throughout our time there. 
6. I saw this cute little sign outside of a bakery in one of the last towns that we stopped in. :-)
