OOTD: Lucky fur.

     I'm finally getting to post the outfit that I wore to the H&M opening here in Charlotte at the start of my Spring Break! Be sure to read my blog post all about that event if you haven't yet, my friend Shara and I both won a very cool contest at the opening! Hence why I titled this outfit "lucky fur," I must have had luck with me that day! I don't win things very often haha. ;-)

     Anyways, my friend Shara is a super talented photographer. That is actually what she does for a living!! I will write a lot more about her business in more posts coming up, but for now here is the link to her website! Shara was able to shoot a few of my outfits while she visited, and I'm excited to be sharing the first one right now!

     First, can I just say how amazing are these photos?! I love the light, the colors, the focus... ahhh. The other outfits that I'll be sharing soon have pictures that are even more beautiful then these so I cannot wait to share more. 

     Spring comes earlier in Charlotte then it does back home in Maine (thank-goodness!), so I knew that by late February my opportunities to wear my favorite winter vest were quickly dwindling. I also styled this same vest in this post from my trip to Scotland a couple of months ago!

     I also must mention how much I am loving this necklace! I picked it up last month at Burlington Coat Factory. I had actually never really been to Burlington before, there is one by the mall closest to my home in Maine, but it was just a store that I never went into! While dress shopping for formal with sorority sisters, we happened to pop in Burlington first because it was near the formal dress store we were going to. I couldn't believe my eyes- SO much cute stuff and amazing prices! The jewelry selection was incredible. I picked up this cute statement necklace that I'm wearing in this outfit. It also came with adorable matching earrings (not pictured), and the set was only $9.99! I also got some super cute earrings for a sorority sister's birthday that is coming up. I need to get back up there soon to stock up on more of their jewelry! I don't think I saw anything that was over $12.
