The Most Gorgeous Gingham Dress.

     This might very well end up being my favorite outfit post of 2019! I purchased this stunning dress way back in March when I organized a girls' weekend trip to Charlotte with all of my Charlottesville friends. Unfortunately by the time I could get these blog photos, the dress had long since sold out, but I love it so much that I still wanted to share it with you! I'm hoping the brand might bring back a similar version for 2020.

     As soon as I saw this gorgeous maxi dress at Belk this spring, I knew immediately that I had to have it! In the spirit of honesty, I'm not as crazy about gingham prints for spring/summer as some other preppy style bloggers are (I would rather wear floral prints or a bright neon hue over gingham usually!), but I loved the style of this dress and the fact it was multicolored. When I tried it on in the fitting room, I felt that it had such a flattering and elongating effect. Of course it had to come home with me! Sadly the one that I have sold out at Belk a few months ago (fingers crossed it will return in 2020!), but I have linked similar gingham maxi dresses below!

     Winery culture is a big part of life here in Central Virginia, and I knew this dress would be great to wear to wineries this summer. My favorite winery outfit is a midi or maxi dress paired with a fun hat and sunglasses! I also packed this dress for my trip home to Maine, and I wore it the evening that my parents and I went to see a musical. 

     I've been so excited to share these photos with you! This photoshoot with Kate was done at my very favorite local winery, King Family Vineyards. I had the time of my life running through the vines to capture these images! I can't believe that I still haven't done a dedicated blog post on King Family yet- that's going to change soon I promise! It's always the #1 winery I recommend to people visiting the area.

     Hope you're having a great Monday! My new roommate and I picked up the keys to our new apartment on Saturday, and I am so proud that I was able to bring a few carloads of stuff over! The more I bring over now, the easier Moving Day will be at the end of August.
