Summer PR Reviews.

     Hi Friends! It is so good to be back on the blog today! In case you missed it, I took a blog and blog related social media break from 7/19-7/28 (yesterday) while I was on vacation at home in Maine. This break was so needed and I'm back today feeling so refreshed and motivated to create content for the rest of the year! I'll also be sharing a few posts about Maine in August on the blog. But today we're jumping back into things with a big PR Reviews post! I'll be sharing and reviewing some of the fun gift packages I've received from different brands this summer.

      First up are these two fun packages from Pixi Beauty! They've spoiled me this summer with fun goodies from their Glow Tonic and Vitamin C skincare lines. I've heard such good things about the Glow Tonic Toner from other bloggers, and I was so excited to finally try it out! I've been using it morning and night for the past few weeks and like it so far. I haven't seen any *huge* skin changes, but I've been mostly break-out free for that time so that's good! In full disclosure I haven't had time to try any of these other goodies yet as I've been trying to finish up a serum and moisturizer that were already being used, but I can't wait to try the rest soon.

     I've been a big fan of IT Cosmetics for the last few years- it's probably the makeup brand that I use the most products from! They've always been so generous with their PR gifts for bloggers. This summer I received two mailers- one with some eyebrow pencils from their Brow Power line, and some of the CC+ creams and a face primer in oil-free matte! I've been a fan of the original CC+ cream for awhile- it's my typical weekday makeup. However, I was finding that the original version wasn't lasting well on my skin for summer. I tried the oil-free matte CC+ cream in my correct shade (Fair-Light) with the coordinating primer- and y'all it was great! This version is much better on my skin for summer- I highly recommend! I also love the primer.

     Avon is another one of my favorites to receive PR mail from- they always send such creative packages with their new product releases! In full disclosure- I didn't wear anything Avon before I got added to their PR list a few years ago- but now I'm obsessed and use several of their great products regularly. The prices also can't be beat! This summer they sent me different shades of the Magic Tint tinted moisturizer. I like this so far! I prefer something heavier on my face for everyday where, but I think this is great for casual weekends or any weekday that I"m running late and don't have time to do full makeup. It would also be great on top of sunscreen for a beach or pool day if you still wanted a little coverage! They also sent a bunch of skincare items from their new Anew Vitamin C line. Similarly to the Pixi products, I haven't tried most yet since I'm trying to empty other skincare items I was previously using first, but I've loved Avon skincare that I've tried before so I'm excited! I have started using the Antioxidant Lip Treatment in the mornings though and I love it.

     Some new pink pretties from Sugarfix, which is Baublebar's Target exclusive line! I love both of these fun statement earrings and have been wearing them a bit over the past few weeks. The tassels are my favorite shade of hot pink! The hoops are on the heavier side but thankfully they don't really hurt my ears for lengthy wear.

    And lastly- the most delicious PR gift of all! 😉In the spring I was added to the Duck Donuts PR list... and y'all my monthly donut coupon might be the best thing I've ever gotten from blogging! If you haven't heard of Duck Donuts, they're a fantastic donut chain based in the South. They're originally from the Outer Banks in NC, but have expanded to other nearby states a lot in the last few years! Their donuts are always served hot and fresh, and they do really fun seasonal dozen assortments. The photo above is from the dozen that I picked up for National Donut Day in June!
