My Favorite J. Crew Purchase.

    Two years ago, I purchased my J. Crew Factory Wool Sidewalk Skirt. Hands down one of the most versatile and best purchases that I've ever made! I wear this skirt with everything. Each fall, I look forward to styling it different ways!! It's a classic and preppy wardrobe staple piece. 

    This time around I'm pairing it with this cute flannel shirt! YMI Jeans was one of the sponsoring brands at The Blog Societies Conference this past summer, and I received this shirt from them. I have a few different flannel shirts and love wearing them in the cooler months. If I'm just lounging around, I'll wear my flannels just with jeans or leggings and top it all off with a messy bun or ponytail. But it's totally possible to dress flannel up as well, which is shown here! I've found an almost identical flannel shirt to the one I'm wearing, and it's under $15!! 

     I hope that y'all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty quiet, but still wonderful. Do y'all ever have a weekend where sometimes the smaller moments are the highlights? That was mine! The highlight of my weekend was getting the chance to pour out my heart and life story over coffee (my very first-ever Pumpkin Spice Latte- to be exact!)  on Saturday afternoon... I think few things in life are more wonderful than being able to be totally vulnerable and honest and just to share your story with someone! :-) I truly treasure those types of conversations and moments. 

     Other weekend highlights included two separate day trips to South Carolina- I'll be sharing more about both of those in this week's Midweek Ramblings + Recent Purchases! I've been bad about getting those posts up for the past few weeks, but I promise it will be back this week.
