Canada bound and blog business.

     This afternoon is my last day of work at my summer job, and right after I get out work my mom and I are headed to New Brunswick, Canada for a little vacation!! I haven't taken any time off from work this summer (minus my usual normal 1-2 days off each week), so I am so excited to have a few days to see someplace new, and also to relax before the big annual move to Charlotte!

     Tonight we will be staying in a hotel north of Bangor, Maine (Close to the University of Maine- a college that I applied to in high school but never visited, maybe this is my chance to finally see it?! Lol!), and on Sunday we will head to Canada. I will be home on Wednesday night! During this time I have decided to go on a social-media fast. This is the first time that I have ever done this on a vacation since I joined Facebook several years ago and got a cell phone, etc! I wouldn't get cell service in Canada anyways since it is international, but I decided I will keep my phone on airplane mode during the duration of the trip and not turn the wifi on. I think before the craziness of school starts I really need a good break from my daily routine, and that includes my online life! So the blog will be a bit quiet during the beginning part of next week, but I will be back in just a few days with pictures from Canada as well as some OOTDs of what I wore during the trip!


     Lastly, next Friday August 15th, I have a really fun blog collaboration with Stella and Dot jewelry coming to the blog! I have been working with the sweetest Stella and Dot consultant named Jordan, and she is helping me to host my very own Stella and Dot trunk show for all of you so that you can shop their beautiful jewelry online through my blog!
