Spring weather has finally arrived in Charlotte and I couldn't be happier!! Yesterday (when I wore this outfit) it was about 80 degrees and sunny, my favorite weather! Early Spring is when the temperatures really differ the most between Maine and NC... it was in the 30s in my hometown yesterday. Warm days like this always make me happy that I went to school down South!

The floral skirt that I'm wearing is from Hollister, aka my favorite store in 8th grade. ;-) There was once a day when I thought that being "fashionable" meant owning a large collection of Hollister t-shirts... let's just say I've come a long way from then!! Anyways, I still pop into Hollister and Abercrombie occasionally. While these are by no means my favorite stores anymore, sometimes they have great clearance racks filled with items that are actually quite cute. I found this skirt in a Hollister sale a couple summers ago, and I have gotten so much wear out it in the warmer months! This is the first time that I paired it with this t-shirt from Kohl's, but I really liked the way they looked together!

I had been waiting for nice weather to style this beautiful monogram necklace that was sent to me by a wonderful Etsy shop called Cardinal Gift. This necklace was offered in 25 beautiful colors, and I selected this beautiful blue for mine. It already matches so many things in my closet, and I know that I'll be getting a ton of use out of it! I think this monogram is super cute and I might even order another necklace from Cardinal Gift! Their prices are also very reasonable for monograms- most of their necklaces are under $30 (and that's including the shipping prices!).

And speaking of low prices, you can get an item from Cardinal Gift for even less! Vlad, the owner of Cardinal Gift has shared with me a special coupon code that you can use in the Etsy shop to get 20% off your purchase!! The code is: SOUTHERNBELLE

Happy Monogram shopping! Be sure to let me know if you order something from Cardinal Gift! :-)

  2. Love this outfit! I really want a monogram necklace so bad. I'll have to check out that site. I used to love Hollister too! That was the brand to wear back in the day. That and American Eagle!
