Happy National Wear Your Lilly Day! We have officially entered the season for Lilly Pulitzer. Summer 2021 is looking to be much more normal than Summer 2020, and I am bursting with excitement for all the fun social events coming up that I can wear Lilly for (and none of them include Zoom!). Happy National Wear Your Lilly Day 2021! How exciting that this year I'm celebrating with a dress that shares my name. This beautiful dress style is called the Analeese! Even if it didn't have my name, I'd still love the dress. It's a flattering and classy midi dress- I really like the full skirt and the waist bow detail. This print is called Boatylicious, and the bold blue color with pops of red and white make it a perfect 4th of July outfit option I think! This dress was gifted to me by the Lilly Pulitzer team, and it made NWYLD extra special this year!!
I knew that for a print as nautical and summery as this, I wanted to take the photos at home on the beach in Maine during my May trip. Unfortunately the weather was miserable for three of the days I was home... I'm talking rain and high temperatures in the 40s (Yes- HIGHS in the 40s in May. Brrrr!!) Fortunately the last full day of my trip, it was sunny and 75. My dad and I snuck off to Colony Beach in Kennebunkport and he did the photos for this post- didn't he do a great job?! I am thankful that both my parents enjoy helping me with blog photos when I am home or they are visiting me.

Your dad did such a beautiful job on these photos and I can see why you love this dress! I do too. The print and color is just a match made in heaven and I love how it flows with you. I bet twirling it in is so much fun. One of these days I will own an LP dress or romper! It's on my wish list!! I hope your day is off to a great start and happy Monday!
