Ramblings:
- Swinging Bridges: One of the reasons that I love living in Virginia so much is because I keep discovering new sights to see! I had no idea before reading this article that Virginia had so many unique bridges. Definitely adding a few of these to my fall bucket list!
- Fall TV: Who else is excited for fall TV premieres starting next week? I love this time of year and finding new favorite shows to watch. Over the past few years I've done an annual blog post where I share the returning shows that I'm excited are coming back, and new ones that have grabbed my attention. This is the first year in several that there's not a ton of new TV shows that look interesting to me- but I still have a few I want to check out. For new shows, I think I'm going to try watching Bob Hearts Abishola, The Unicorn and Perfect Harmony. For returning shows, I can't wait for new seasons of Young Sheldon, A Million Little Things and Superstore!
- Discount travel websites: This is a fascinating article that breaks down a lot of the hidden fees when booking hotel rooms on popular travel websites! I do find Expedia to be a useful tool when getting a general idea of hotel and airline prices, but for the future I might try to book directly through hotels.
Weekend Recaps:
- Last weekend: Ended up being super busy! I helped out at a service project with friends from my old church, and then in the evening I went to a cookout and game night with people from another local church. The church network of young professionals is pretty strong in Charlottesville which I love. On Sunday I went to church, and then took some fun blog photos at a local country club that my friend Tyler works out- I can't wait to share those soon.
- This weekend: I'll be in Charleston for a girls' trip and a dear college friend's wedding! Can't wait!!
Purchases: No fun purchases this past week- saving money instead for Charleston!
Wishlist:
- I think certain Golden Goose sneaker styles are cute for casual looks, but I couldn't even fathom spending that much money on a pair of sneakers! I was so excited to see this dupe pair- personally I think a lot of these colors are even cuter than the real deal.
- This leopard print top is so cute for fall! Would work well for the workplace or more casual style.
- This darling coat is under $100 and a perfect dupe for the more expensive J. Crew version!! Get this before it's gone!
- This week I found this Amazon jewelry retailer- their earrings are great dupes for popular designer or Baublebar styles, and so cheap!
- Such a cute corduroy skirt for fall!

Recipe of the week: Fiesta Chicken Pasta Bake from The Girl Who Ate Everything. It's my week to host Family Dinner (my dinner club with my friends) next week, and I think I might try this recipe! It looks so easy and delicious.
Song of the week: Liar by Camilla Cabello
Favorite blog posts of the week:

- A Touch of Teal - Katie shared a fantastic travel guide for Natchez, MS- I think this darling Southern town is definitely on my bucket list to visit now.
- Chronicles of Frivolity - Katey shared her tips for keeping her home peaceful and organized- even though I don't have a family yet and just live in an apartment, I found so much wisdom to implement in my home environment from this post!
On the blog this week:
