Midweek Ramblings.

Ramblings:

• Great birthday weekend: I had the best birthday week/weekend last week to kick of 25! I decided I'm going to do a full recap post about how I celebrated tomorrow on the blog, instead of making today's post too lengthy about that. 😊Thanks though to all of you who sent birthday wishes!
• Two hit wonders: If you're a fellow 90s/early 2000s music and pop culture fan like I am, you'll love this two-hit wonder quiz from Buzzfeed! I was so proud that I only got one question wrong! (And in my defense that question was about rock bands haha.)
• Cutest photo ever: Have you seen the viral photo yet of the squirrel stopping to smell a flower? I guarantee it'll make your day if you haven't- so cute! 

Weekend recaps:

• Last weekend: My birthday was on Friday! I celebrated by getting my hair done right after work, and then had a birthday party with friends in the evening- I'll share more about that in tomorrow's post! For the rest of the weekend, my roommate and I spent a lot of time unpacking and decorating our apartment. We got art on the walls in the living and dining room, and spent a lot of Sunday afternoon building a large pantry cabinet! This was also my 4th or 5th Sunday attending what I think will be my new church home.
• This weekend: I'll be in Richmond Friday after work for a fun blog project! Saturday I'm planning to help out with a service project with friends from my former church. And Sunday after church I'm planning to help a friend out with some photography at her job- I love any chance to be behind the camera. 

Purchases: Spoiler alert - lots of After Party Sale damage!

• I bought this shift dress in-store at Lilly during the sale preview on Saturday. 
• I have a few pairs of Luxletic leggings that I LOVE, so I've been really wanting to try a Luxletic sports bra. Picked one up in the online sale on Monday!
• I tried this fun dress on in-store over the weekend but my size wasn't in stock, so I ordered the correct size online Monday! 
• Another thing I got at the in-store preview was this hat in Sink or Swim.
• And finally- my favorite Lilly dress of 2019 got added into the online sale yesterday! I bought it within five minutes of seeing it!

Wishlist:

• Lots of Fall Amazon picks right now!! First and foremost- THESE BOOTS! I've been wanting a pair of boots like this for awhile, and the price is right on these. 
• This moto jacket comes in multiple colors, and reminds me of the styles that are in the NSale most years. But this one is definitely a better deal! 
• This one shoulder dress would be perfect for semi-formal fall occasions, and it's under $40!
• Two words: flamingo pajamas!! These are darling and such a good price, and they also come in a variety of other prints.

Recipe of the week: My roommate ordered this new standalone pantry cabinet for our kitchen- it still needs to be attached to the wall before we can start filling it and organize our food. Because of that hold up, right now the kitchen is a MESS with pantry items all over every single counter space... so still no cooking for me! There's no place right now to cook. 😂I'm getting so sick of frozen meals and ready to make new recipes again- next week!

• Carolina Charm - Christina shared her design plans for her daughter's bedroom. OMG this room is stunning!! I'm 25 and I want this room, haha.
• Crafty Teacher Lady - Kelly-Anne continued sharing her love story- this was the blog post that shared how she and her husband got engaged!
