Fall 2019 Travel Plans!

I leave tomorrow afternoon for a fun long weekend trip, and I have a few more travel plans coming up in the next couple months. The last time I wrote a blog post like this about upcoming travels, it was pretty well received. So I wanted to fill y'all in today on where I'm headed throughout this fall!

*CHARLESTON, SC - This is where I'm headed tomorrow! Well- technically headed to Charleston itself on Thursday, I'm spending tomorrow night in Charlotte to help break up the drive. 😊 Anyways, I'm headed here for a college friend's wedding! I've only been once before for a blogging conference, and on that trip I didn't really have time to sight-see. It'll be so much fun to go to a dear friend's wedding in such a classic Southern city, and also get a chance to finally do some of the classic touristy things. My friends Ciera and Priyanka are coming down with me to make it into a girls' trip! They'll get to do stuff together when I'm at wedding festivities, and then we will all hang out during the rest of the time. Do you have any last minute Charleston recommendations for me?

*WASHINGTON DC - I can't believe that it's been over a year since I've been up to DC! I went three times in 2018, but life has been so crazy this year that I haven't been able to make a 2019 trip before now. Anyways, I'll be visiting my friend Mercedes who lives just outside DC. She is always an excellent tour guide and I can't wait to see what we'll be up to this time for the Saturday and Sunday that I'll be there. We do have some really fun plans for the Friday night that I'll be there which I can't wait for!

*ALBEMARLE, NC - One of my college friends and her husband live in Albemarle, NC! This town is located about an hour-ish from Charlotte, and I never got a chance to visit here back when I lived in North Carolina. I'm excited to spend time with my friend at her house later this fall, and also to see a new-to-me part of one of my favorite states! There are a few wineries in and near Albemarle- it's on my 101 in 1001 list to go to a North Carolina winery so I'm excited to hopefully check that off on this weekend trip.

*SPAIN - It still doesn't feel real that my mom and I are going abroad for Thanksgiving this year! Our last trip abroad together was Italy two and a half years ago. This will be our third time traveling in Europe with a tour company, and we'll get to see all different parts of Spain. I believe our tour starts in Barcelona and ends in Madrid. In full honesty preparing for Spain hasn't been on the forefront of my mind- I've mostly focused this summer on moving! But now that that's behind me, it's time to get excited for going abroad and refresh myself on the itinerary. I also need to apply for Global Entry ASAP. I'm already so excited to document this trip on the blog- you'll be hearing a lot more about this as it gets closer!

Let me know if you've been to any of these places (especially if you've been to Spain!) before and have any recommendations for me!

     God Bless,

     xoxo Annaliese
