Facts tag.

I was tagged earlier this week in a blog post by fellow Her Campus Blogging Network member Kriselle and asked to give 10 random facts about myself! Since I used to do "Fun Fact Friday" posts a lot I feel like you guys know a ton of odd facts about me, but I will try and come up with 10 more that haven't been said yet. :-)

  1. When I was eight, my parents and I "adopted" a bunch of fish that one of my friends used to have and didn't want anymore. Some of them lasted a few years with us, and some past away quickly. Anyways, I remember that when one fish died a different friend of mine was over, and we decided to give it a fish funeral. We put it in the net and slowly walked it up to the toilet, while singing Hilary Duff songs.
  2. ^ I remembered the above fish funeral memory on one of my last nights at work thist past week. Seriously, I would think of the weirdest childhood memories while at my job!
  3. I cannot WAIT to have Bojangles again in less then a week! I love Bojangles and Chick Fil A equally, but lately I've been really missing Bojangles' cajun fries. Best French fries in the world, y'all. For any Northerners reading this, Bojangles is a Southern chicken and biscuits chain... think KFC but a million times better!
  4. Lately I've been thinking a lot on the concept of my self-worth in God. It makes me excited that God created me specifically for a special purpose! Want to know the better news? He did the same exact thing for *you* too!
  5. I'm the type of person whose day is MADE if I hear a 90s pop song on the radio.
  6. Within three months of getting Lucy (my car), I was in two minor car accidents. Both were my fault. One may or may not have involved me hitting a parked car....
  7. I can happily report though that since my accidents my driving has definitely improved! I've never been pulled over by a cop so I guess that's a good thing, too!
  8. After 90s/early 2000s music, my favorite type of music is dance-pop/europop. My two favorite artists in this genre are both international: Mia Martina from Canada, and Inna from Romania.
  9. I can't walk into a Charming Charlie store and not spend money. My poor dad is already prepared to stop at one in Connecticut with me as a rest stop on our drive back down to school next week.
  10. I'm not a big shorts person. I have one pair of dressy shorts that I like wearing, but I didn't really have any occasions to wear them this summer. I'm definitely more of a sundress girl!

I will have two posts for you on Monday and Tuesday of next week, and then the second-half of the week on my blog will have a special theme and three guest posters! Can't wait to share more next week.

Wish me luck in being able to get everything packed for school this weekend! Definitely something that I struggled with last year... a lot. ;-)

  1. Oh my goodness, I ALWAYS seemed to remember bizarre childhood memories at work (though that may have been due to the funny habits of the toddlers around me)! I do wish I had been as inspired as you were at my own fish's funeral back in the day; I'm sure Dorothy would have loved to have Hilary Duff as a requiem :P

  3. I loved all these facts! Charming Charlie is amazing! Also, thanks for sharing about driving. I got my driver's license this past week and it just came in the mail today! I haven't driven by myself yet, but I will be soon! I feel encouraged when other people talk about their driving, because it's always something I never liked to do. But I'm excited to start to like driving on my own now!

Good luck with your packing, girl! :) I will reply to your email this weekend. Hope you're having a great Friday night!
