Lilly Pulitzer has officially announced their 2023 Sunshine Sale dates! There are a few new changes regarding this sale that are a little bit different than how they've done the sales in recent years. But I think these are all good changes, since they give Lilly fans more ways to shop.

When I look at my blog's analytics year after year, several of the top posts are always related to Lilly Pulitzer sales. I take that to mean that y'all are still just as big fan of Lilly as I am. 😊 And let's face it, it isn't cheap to buy Lilly at full price! I would guess that 70-80% of the Lilly Pulitzer pieces that I own were bought either during a sale or from a consignment shop.
Typically, Lilly Pulitzer only steeply discounts their merchandise twice a year, during the winter and end-of-summer Sunshine Sales. (These used to be called the After Party Sales.) And this year's fall edition of the Sunshine Sale is the one that's about to start! Best-selling Lilly Pulitzer apparel and accessories will be marked down to 30-70% off their original prices. The Sunshine Sale usually includes a whole mix of women's apparel, men's and children's apparel, accessories, shoes, jewelry and more.
This Sunshine Sale will be a little bit different than the past one in January. For the first time in a few years, the Sunshine Sale is coming back to Lilly Pulitzer corporate store locations for two days! The past several sales have not had Lilly corporate stores participate. The Sunshine Sale will be happening in Lilly Pulitzer corporate stores September 9-10th (this weekend!). The kicker is that to shop in person, you need to be a member of Club Lilly, Lilly's new rewards program.
The online sale that we all know and love will be happening September 12-14th, beginning at 8am EST on September 12th. If you log on to shop right at 8am EST, there will be a virtual queue line to wait in to prevent website crashes. Sometimes I luck out and get in to shop within 5-10 minutes. A few times it's been the opposite and I've had to wait over two hours. Usually, it's about a 20-30 minute wait.
Lilly has also confirmed that there will be new sale additions to the online sale on September 13th and 14th.
Club Lilly members will get access earlier access each day to each of these later sale additions, so that's just another reason to join Lilly's free rewards program if you haven't yet!
Lilly Pulitzer signature stores are also participating once again, in addition to corporate owned stores! If there's items you really want that are likely to sell out quickly in the main sale, don't forget to check the websites of Lilly Pulitzer signature stores all over the country! To be honest- I'm not personally looking for a ton in the sale this year. I feel like I've built up a really good sized collection of warm weather Lilly clothing that I wear all spring and summer long. The main thing that I'll be looking for is another long-sleeved Lilly dress that I can wear in the colder months (especially something that looks good with black tights). I also always enjoy checking out the accessories and swimwear options in the sale.
