My last post-move update about life in Vermont (at 10 months) is going to be the LAST ONE EVER! There won't be a 12 months post-move update because... I'm cutting my residency ties with the state of Vermont a little bit short at 11 months! (And I couldn't be HAPPIER!) Yesterday was my last day of work on-air for the stations I've been working at here in Burlington. I'll be headed home to Maine this weekend to spend a few days with my family and friends there (I haven't been home since August), and then the following week my parents arrive with the moving truck to move me OUT OF VERMONT!
Where am I moving to and what will I be doing? I made a video to share the news with my family and close friends when I first found out, and it's below for you to watch! It's about nine minutes long, but everyone that I've shown it to has really enjoyed it (most of my friends said they cried watching!), so I thought it would be special to post it here on the blog as well.
ALL the details about the move sans video (where I'm moving to, what my new radio job is, and much more!) will be in tomorrow's post - Big Life Update Part 2!!!!
Thank you for sharing this happy news with me, and stay tuned for lots more details tomorrow!
God Bless,
xoxo Annaliese

ReplyDeleteYAY! I am so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteThat's so great that you're doing what's right for you!! I grew up in Vermont and my whole family is there. So whenever I visit, I have an amazing time catching up with friends and family. However, I live overseas now so I don't visit as often. It's a very small state so I'm happy that I moved away, but I definitely still love it.

I am SOOOOOO excited for you!!! I literally SCREAMED when I saw it on your Facebook!!! Charlottesville is a wonderful area from what I've heard-- Andy is hoping to apply to the Army's Green to Gold program, and one of the schools he's interested in is Liberty University. Fingers crossed I can listen to you on the radio in my car instead of online! ;)
