Adding Bright Color To Your Fall Wardrobe.

I think the main reason that fall fashion isn't my favorite is because with the beginning of the season, bright colors often disappear from our wardrobes for the next several months. This always makes me so sad, because wearing bold and pretty colors is one of my favorite things about fashion and my personal style! Although sometimes I do wear full outfits in more traditional fall colors, I definitely keep bright colors in my closet year round, and in today's post I wanted to share some current colorful favorites that are available now in stores!

How to Wear Color in Fall

I think that wearing a bright sweater is one of the easiest ways to add a bold hue into a fall or winter look!! I love the pink sweater and green cardigan shown here. I have a good number of bright sweaters and cardigans in my closet, and I'm always looking to add more! Accessories are also a way that you can add a pop of color. If your outfit is made of up all black or mostly darker fall colors, why not try adding in a brightly colored crossbody purse to finish of the look? I love this bright coral Tory Burch one!  I own a couple of royal blue crossbody bags that I wear all of the time in the spring and summer, and I'm hoping to find creative ways to still wear both of them throughout this fall and winter!

Lilly Pulitzer Fall Outfit

Another easy way to bring bright color into your fall or winter outfits is by incorporating (seasonally appropriate) Lilly Pulitzer! The outfit picture above with one of my favorite Elsa tops was one of my favorite looks last year to wear to broadcasting school and my internships! In addition to Elsas, Lilly sweaters, outerwear, scarves and athleisure pieces are easy ways to keep your style preppy and colorful all year.

Bright J Crew Coat

The above picture is obviously more of a winter look, but I also have a lighter fall/spring jacket in the same shade of bright coral! Finding a statement coat in a bold color is another easy and great way to make your outfits pop. I love wearing my statement coats over an all-black outfit! J. Crew is where my colorful peacoat pictured above is from- I think there and J. Crew Factory are kind of the hot spot for colorful outwear, but you can find them at other retailers as well!

Now my question for y'all: do you prefer to stick to traditional fall colors after the season changes, or do you also like to wear pops of color in the cooler months?

     God Bless,

    xoxo Annaliese
