    Fall is here, and here to stay! In the past, this has always been my least favorite season. I am a Springtime girl through and through. But this year I am finding myself exceptionally excited for all that the autumn months are bringing!! Fall fashion is something that I'm embracing full force this year. 

     I found this chic poncho during the Labor Day Weekend sales in Myrtle Beach last month, and it was probably my favorite purchase on my vacation! You can never go wrong at LOFT for basics like this. I loved styling it here with coordinating booties and dark jeggings, and a delicate blouse that added a little pop of pink. If it's an Annaliese outfit, you know that there will be at least some color in whatever I'm wearing. ;-)

      On the day that I wore this outfit, I had a couple of different meetings at school in the evening. During a Greek life meeting, one of my sorority sisters told me that this outfit reminded her so much of something that a character on Gossip Girl would wear. Y'all know that I finally finished watching Gossip Girl this summer, and that I consider the character of Serena Van der Woodsen to be one of my personal style icons, so this was such a compliment to me! 

     Hope that all of you will be having a wonderful weekend! My mom arrives here in Charlotte later this afternoon. I am a little disappointed that the rain that Charlotte has had for the past week will be continuing to stick around through the end of her visit (thanks Hurricane Joaquin!), but hopefully it will still be a fun weekend!
