Hey friends- happy Monday! I've been super busy lately and there's a few things happening behind-the-scenes in life right now... so starting off the week with a lighthearted outfit post sounds good to me. This look was so much fun to put together, and it's honestly making me happy to see a cute outfit like this on a Monday.
This is also the first outfit post in a long time where I'm using a mix of iPhone and camera photos!! The first three are from my DSLR camera, and the last two are phone snaps. I'd love to know if there's one you prefer or if you can tell the difference!

This was a fun outfit to put together! The pink blazer is actually part of a matching set with a pair of shorts (I styled both pieces together in this post). It is so bright and fun, and always puts a smile on my face when I wear it. I dressed it down here by pairing it with a fun graphic t-shirt. A few months ago in this blog post I talked about how I've been trying out the cropped flare denim trend, and I thought they would pair better with this look than skinny jeans so I brought them out again. And finally- my favorite Loeffler Randall dupe mules- these are an affordable and almost identical version of the $300+ version. While putting together this blog post over the weekend I was reminded again how much I love this look, so I recreated it for work today! (Just with different shoes. 😊)
I feel like this outfit reminds me of something that one of my favorite fashion bloggers, Katey from Chronicles of Frivolity, would wear! Katey's style is all about pops of color and mixing pieces that you might not initially think would go together, but end up coming together to pull off a totally trendy and chic outfit. My blazer, shoes and Barrington tote definitely all remind me of her fun style! (And if you don't follow Katey- do check out her blog. She's been one of my very favorite bloggers to follow for years now!)
I hope you're having a great start to the week! I was in Richmond this weekend for a friend's bachelorette party, and I'll be out of town next weekend... and the weekend after too! Three back-to-back out of town weekends?! Goodness gracious- it feels like 2019 again, ha!

It's such a fun outfit Annaliese! I am loving the pops of color and those sunnies are way fun! In regards to the difference between your iPhone photos and DSLR, I honestly couldn't tell the difference. You did such a good job! I hope you are having a great start to your week. Life is picking up for sure but I am still holding on to the slowness of it! Ha!
