I'm doing a little try-on session and sizing review of my Winter Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale purchases today! The APS is definitely one of my favorite things about January- I just hate that the weather is too cold to usually start wearing what I bought right away. I love the pieces I got in this sale, and I'm very excited for warmer weather to wear them!

*Margot Dress in Cheek to Cheek {similar dress linked} - The Margot dress is such a versatile casual Lilly style! It's super easy to throw on in the summer- it's ideal as a weekend dress or can even be worn as a swimsuit cover-up. I already owned a Margot dress in another print that I styled in this blog post from last summer! The Margot style isn't currently in stock on the Lilly website right now, but I have a feeling it will return this spring or summer once new prints are released. This dress runs large- I'm typically an S in Lilly, but I take an XS in this style.
*Luxletic High Rise Weekender Leggings and Luxletic Sports Bra {not currently in stock} - I'm obsessed with Lilly Pulitzer Luxletic pieces. They brighten up my workouts and are super comfortable to wear, and they also hold up extremely well over time! I have a few other pairs of these leggings but had to score another in the recent APS. My sports bra is from the last September APS, but I think it coordinates well even though the pattern isn't exactly the same. The leggings are in the Party in Paradise print- which I really love! I'm wearing an S in the leggings and sports bra and both fit true to size.
*UPF 50+ Sophie Dress - I love casual Lilly dresses like the Sophie. These are what I live in on weekdays in the summer for my work wardrobe! I knew that I wanted to pick up another one in the January APS for the upcoming warmer months. I always wear an S in the Sophie dresses, and all the ones I've had previously always fit perfectly. I'm not sure if the fabric or design of the dress has since been altered, but my new Sophie dress is a little bit tight in the shoulders and arms. I do have broad shoulders for my frame, but I've never had this issue with past Sophie dresses I've bought in the same size. It's not so tight that it'll be impossible for me to wear, but just something that I did want to make note of! I purchased this in the Party in Paradise print, which matches the new leggings I got.
*Calla Romper {not currently in stock} - This was a fun impulse buy during the APS, and I'm so glad I did get it! I really wanted something in the Mermaid in the Shade print, so I decided to go with the Calla romper. How fun is it?! Look at those darling ruffled sleeves! One great thing to note about this romper is how thick the fabric is and how well lined it is. I've had rompers before that are too short or borderline see-through, and no one wants that. This one feels cute and flirty on, but covers everything that needs to be covered haha! I ordered my usual size S, but honestly this runs a little bit! I probably could've gotten away with in XS. I have a feeling the Calla romper will be back in updated prints for spring and summer!
Lilly Pulitzer's first round of their spring collection just came out a couple days ago- I'm already crushing on all the new arrivals! Now winter just needs to finish up soon so it'll be Lilly season again. 😊Did you receive all your APS purchases yet? How did you like them?
God Bless,
xoxo Annaliese
This makes me so excited for warmer weather!! That romper looks so good on you, I bet you will get a lot of use out of it. I am also a huge fan of colorful workout clothes-most girls just wear black!
ReplyDeleteCome on spring! So glad you found so many happy pieces!! I picked up the Calla Romper too in the mermaid print and I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the Margot dress you got! My current Lilly planner is in that print. I think the past two After Party Sale hauls have been some of my favorites! I love everything I got, and can actually wear three out of the four pieces I got already, since they are pajama shorts and top, and a printed headband! I’m definitely looking forward to wearing the patchwork skort I got once spring rolls around!

Ahh I love all of these! I need this romper, since my mom got our baby a bubble in that pattern. So darling.
