What I Bought on Black Friday!

     Happy Monday! It can definitely be tough to get back in the swing of things on a Monday after a holiday long weekend, but fortunately today is Cyber Monday, so that should make things a little bit better! 😉I'm excited to be sharing some of my Black Friday purchases from this year with y'all today- these retailers are all still doing sales today, so if you are interested in these items or something similar it's probably still very discounted!

      I went home to Maine for a quick trip this year, and my dad took me shopping early Friday morning at the good ol' Maine Mall, which is the mall I primarily grew up shopping at. Something that always cracked me up is that when I was in college and friends would talk about shopping options where they grew up, there always seemed to be a varied choice of malls. Here in Southern Maine? Well, there's the mall (The Maine Mall)... and only the Maine Mall, haha! Maine isn't exactly a retail paradise. The Maine Mall is only one story and definitely not that big in the scheme of malls, but it has gotten some decent stores over the last decade or so! There were a few that I was still excited to hit up on Black Friday, like Old Navy, LOFT, and J. Crew Factory. 

     This coat was my favorite purchase I needed! Definitely an impulse buy, but it made me feel so chic! I know it'll be just darling to where over holiday dresses for any holiday parties or formals I'll be attending in the next month or two. It was originally $80 and marked down to $30! Sadly it is sold out online from the retailer I got it at. 😓But this faux fur coat is super similar, still available online, and also marked down for Black Friday/Cyber Monday!

     Oh my gosh, I can't be more obsessed with this cute sherpa pullover sweatshirt!! It is SO cuddly and soft, and was such a good deal on Black Friday! I'm always cold in the radio studio at work so I actually got this in navy as well as pink. I'm going to leave one at work for mornings that I'm cold, and then wear the other one around my apartment this winter. 

     I picked up this blue workout tank and this sports bra as well! I don't like spending a lot of money on workout clothes so I appreciated the Black Friday deals on these two items.

    This striped knotted dress is such a classic piece! It was 50% off for Black Friday. I know I'll be able to wear it both for work, church and weekends!

     I'm a total sucker for anything tweed, so this tweed skirt for 50% off called my name! Another classic piece that I can wear with a lot of different tops and sweaters. I didn't end up purchasing the top I'm wearing with it in the photo, but I knew I had to get the skirt. 

     One thing that was high on my Black Friday list for myself was a new pair of dress pants! You can't see it well in this mirror selfie, but this pair of black dress pants had cute little polka dot details on them, making them a little more fun than your average pair! I got them 50% off, as well as this pretty yellow blouse, which I feel like will be a great winter to spring transition item in a few months.

     I also bought several other things on Friday, but those items are all Christmas gifts so I won't be sharing them on the blog right now. 😉I always like to get a good amount of my gift shopping done on Black Friday, and this year was no exception.
