I recently did an Instagram collaboration with a new-to-me brand, and I loved the dress I received so much that I wanted to share it on my blog, too! I don't do fashion content on here as much as I used to anymore, so when I do have photos of a cute recent outfit, why not share on the blog too?!
I was so excited when Queen of Sparkles reached out about working with me on Instagram. They're a female-owned small business making dresses, matching sets, and other clothing that screams maximalist. Think lots of bold colors, fun designs, and of course a lot of sparkles! When I was first browsing their website, all that I could think was that their designs reminded me of Lilly Pulitzer on steroids. 😂 So many of their pieces screamed Annaliese to me! I ended up choosing the Aqua Fish Poof Ruffle Sleeve Dress. Aquamarine is my favorite color, and I thought the fish designs were really fun and fitting since I live in Virginia Beach. The dress is even more beautiful in person! The detail is impeccable. I ordered size M, and it was literally a perfect fit for me.
These photos were taken next-door to the Virginia Beach Aquarium. I wanted water views in the photos, and I thought it was extra fitting to do this spot next-door to the aquarium since the dress has fish on it. The Virginia Beach Aquarium is also where Ryan and I had a fun and memorable second date, so the spot is a little sentimental to me too.
I love my first Queen of Sparkles dress, and I need to find a dressy event worth of wearing this to soon! I'd highly recommend checking out Queen of Sparkles for any of your extra or maximalist clothing needs. Their unique pieces are bound to bring a smile to your face.
