Nothing says "classic summer preppy outfit" to me like the color combination of pink and green! These two colors when worn together just make me so happy. Anyone else? 😊
I purchased this retro looking green gingham shift dress a couple months ago, and I knew that when I styled it I wanted to add hot pink accessories. I came up with two different pink accessorized outfits... and I liked them both so much that I shot both for today's blog post! One is more of a daytime look, and the other I think would be cute for a fun evening out or a date night. So here's one of my new favorite dresses, styled two ways!

Daytime look: Dress // Headband c/o // Sandals // Necklace {similar} // Sunglasses {not online, very similar here}
Daytime:
How cute is this dress paired with big curls, a big pearl necklace and a fun hot pink headband?! I felt sassy and sophisticated, and all of the retro vibes. I would totally wear this outfit for a variety of summery daytime activities: everything from the usual stuff like work and church, to more fun things like an afternoon at a winery, a lunch date, etc!
Nightime:
I love buying a versatile piece of clothing like this dress that's able to go so easily from day to night. To make the pink and green look feel a little nicer, I changed up my hairstyle, added heels and a fun clutch, and took away the big necklace for some big earrings. I think this is the ideal preppy evening look. I can't wait for more fun places to re-open so I can actually wear this somewhere! Just seeing these photos makes me crave a visit to a new rooftop bar. Hopefully soon!
This fun shift dress also comes in a pink gingham option- maybe I should buy that one too and style it with green accessories? 😉Both colors on sale currently! I really like the clothing brand that it's from- my absolute favorite dress of last summer is also from there (and also gingham! Haha).
Thanks for reading today, I hope you're having a great start to the week. I'm hoping to have very good news to share with you in Wednesday's Midweek Ramblings post about how car shopping has been going!
God Bless,
