Winter Style in Maine.

Happy 2017 friends, and welcome back for my first post of the new year! I hope that y'all had a fun and safe NYE weekend. I had one of my best New Year's ever, and I can't wait to share much more about it in tomorrow's blog post.

For today, I'm backtracking a bit back to my trip last week when I went home to Maine for Christmas! I had planned to share a travel guide post all about visiting my hometown in Southern Maine during the winter months- but I'm still working on that. It should be on the blog this Friday! Instead today I am sharing an outfit that I wore during my trip for a day of some last minute Christmas shopping at the shops in Kennebunkport with my dad, and a walk on the beach after. This was actually one of the warmest days that I was home- it was in the mid 40s when these photos were taken. Maine in the winter sure gives me a new appreciation for Charlotte winters- haha!

This year more than ever before I am obsessed with peacoats and cute winter accessories. I had a lot of fun putting this outfit together, and building my look around this coat. I'm not usually a huge fan of wearing white in the winter, but by pairing the white beanie and leg warmers  with this fun ruffled top (which I also wore in this blog post), it was able to still keep the look winter appropriate.

Hope that y'all are having a great start to the week! I'm excited for lots of fun posts coming up on the blog this week and this month. And in my personal life, I begin my off-campus radio internship through my broadcasting school tomorrow! This is an opportunity that I'm so very blessed to have, and have waited a long time for. I'll try and share some updates soon.

xoxo Annaliese (new year = finally signing blog posts under my real name! ;-) )
