I'm so happy with the results! I wanted to do something different to my hair that didn't involve cutting it all off or dying it completely. I've always been obsessed with curly hair, so then it occured to me that I could try a perm! What do y'all think? It's a little frizzier then I expected but so far I'm really enjoying it!
One thing that I've been thinking about a lot though since the perm is how although it is fun to play around with different hairstyles and fashions, what truly matters is inner beauty. God keeps reminding me that what He cares about is if I have a loving and compassionate heart. It truly can be a challenge for me to keep my thoughts focussed on Him and not worldly things such as materialism. Here are some bible verses that I found online about inner beauty.
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight." -1 Peter 3:3-4

ReplyDeleteI recently dyed my hair black after the ombré trend (which is what I had before) got way too trendy for me. Haha I've had black hair a few times before. It's still my favorite on me. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm constantly changing my hair and have been back and forth with every which style and colour but the only thing I haven't tried is a perm! Looks great on you though :)

ReplyDeleteNice curls! The perm looks great on you, like they’re your natural hair, even in the blond hair. Oh well, you could probably pull off any hairstyle because you’re naturally gorgeous. What other hairstyles have you tried lately?
