❤️Red + Pink Valentine's Outfit Round-Up.💗

      The month of love is here- welcome to February! I'm not quite sure why, but in the past few years especially Valentine's has become a favorite holiday of mine, and that has zero to do with my relationship status. Hallmark holiday or not, I just love the fact that there is a day to celebrate love! Red and pink is one of my favorite color combinations out there, and see it pop up everywhere makes me so happy. I also love knowing that mid-February means that winter is almost over! Well- almost over here in the South at least. 😊I'm also a huge enthusiast of Galentine's!! 

     To kick off this month, I wanted to share a round-up of some of my favorite red and/or pink outfits on the blog from the past few years! As I mentioned above, red and pink is a favorite color combo of mine, but I think only the first outfit featured below is the only fully red and pink styled look I've shared on the blog. That will hopefully change in 2021 since I do love this color combo! But I do have some other fun separate red or pink outfits from the past few years, so those are all linked below. Some of these looks are a few years old and exact items aren't still in stock, but I tried to find similar pieces for everything! 

What I Wore To Work: January 2021.

      Here's all of my work outfits from the first month of the year! It has been a snow-less month in Charlottesville, but it has still felt very much like winter. The first half of the month was pretty mild, but the last week or two have been pretty cold. This has been one of the harder months of the pandemic so far for me- between the cold weather making it hard to do safe activities outside, and the steadily rising cases in my area, it's easy to feel discouraged some days. But I'm hanging in there! I hope you are too.

Inspiring Woman Interview: Meet Marie of The Radio Fam

     I'm thrilled to kick off a brand new blog post series on SBIT today! Welcome to my first ever Inspiring Woman interview. I've always enjoyed reading interviews on other blogs- I've found many people to follow that way. It dawned on me near the end of last year that I've been so lucky in recent years to connect with so many women who inspire me: both those in radio and in the blogging and influencer space- my two passions!

 

      In 2021, I'm hoping to bring you an interview every other month with a woman who inspires me. If these are a success, I'm hoping to do this every month in 2022! I'll be alternating between women in radio and in blogging, and maybe down the road I'll feature women in other industries as well (I'd love to highlight some small business owners!).

     My first Inspiring Woman interview guest is Marie of The Radio Fam. She's the creator and owner of one of the most successful radio industry community accounts on Instagram, @theradiofam. She balances a day job and multiple side hustles, and is a personal branding whiz. Whether you're in radio or not, Marie and her Instagram accounts are definitely worth a follow, and many of the things she's done with Radio Fam could be applied to other industries as well. 3 Current Fashion Trends I Just Don't Get (+ One I Do Like!)

      Fashion trends come and go, and I do my best to keep up with them. I think my personal style is like 50% classic (preppy, timeless and feminine), and 50% trendy. While there are usually some trends each year that I love, I've found that in recent years there's more and more that I'm not into. (Maybe that means I'm getting old?! 😉Haha.)
