I usually try to get my Word of the Year post published before the end of January each year, but it totally escaped my mind this year since the first month of this year was so busy with wedding planning. But better late than never, right? 😊 I am really excited about my 2024 Word of the Year. This year's is such a good fit for my current life stage, and it also has such a positive connotation attached to it. I'm also sharing a few photos of one of my favorite casual winter outfits!
I think I can keep this year's post pretty short and sweet. My 2024 Word of the Year is CELEBRATE. The year 2024 is going to be a huge one for many reasons. On a personal level, I turn 30 this year, and it's also my wedding year! These are two gigantic and notable things that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Just the things in my personal life alone is plenty to celebrate. But that's not even including all of the exciting life events for many close friends this year. I have four close friends who are also getting married in 2024, several close friends who are pregnant or recently had babies, and also several friends who join me in turning 30 this year. Talk about celebration after celebration!
This is going to be a year of blessings and big life events not just for me, but for so many friends who mean so much to me. I want my focus this year to be on celebrating the big things in my life, and the big things in lives around me. Not every year of life will bring this many happy occasions, and I want to soak up all of it while I can. I also want to celebrate the everyday moments in between all of these big ones.

Aww, what a perfect word choice! You have so much to celebrate this year! Trust me, you'll love being 30. It's not scary, and you really feel like you know who you are at 30.
