What to Wear to Megan Moroney's Cloud 9 Tour ☁️

      I'm excited to soon attend Megan Moroney's first-ever arena tour: The Cloud 9 Tour! Megan is one of my favorite country artists- I love everything about her whole vibe, style and aesthetic. She also writes amazing song lyrics! I've been a fan of Megan since first she came on the country music scene a few years ago. Her first hit single "Tennessee Orange" started gaining popularity during my first year working in country radio, and I've loved following the rise of her career ever since. Even though I don't work in country radio anymore, I've stayed a fan of Megan. 

     I'll be attending one of the early Cloud 9 tour dates next month, and I'm so excited. I love putting together cute concert outfits, but especially so when the artist has great style themselves, and that's definitely the case for Megan. I wanted to share some outfit inspiration to anyone else attending Megan Moroney's Cloud 9 tour. I wrote a similar blog post last year with outfit inspiration for her Am I Okay?      Since starting my own journey of learning to golf in 2022, I have quickly become obsessed with watching professional golf as well. The pinnacle of all professional golf events of course is The Masters! Held annually at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA,  this is also one of the most exclusive and hard-to-attend sporting events in the world, thanks to the extremely selective Masters ticket lottery.

     I hope and pray that Ryan and I can someday be lucky enough to score Masters tickets in the lottery and attend the event. Until then, I'll continue to get more obsessed each year while watching at home! Masters fashion is honestly one of my favorite parts of the tournament. Wedding Wednesday: My Wedding Dress(es)

       Before I start sharing the photo recaps of our wedding ceremony and reception,  I thought that my wedding dress deserved a detailed blog post of its own! I first wrote about my wedding dress shortly after I purchased it last winter. But that entire post was written without any photos of the dress, since the wedding hadn't happened yet! And then a second dress (reception dress) came into the picture as well. Basically, I have a lot to catch you up on dress-wise, and it seemed right to do that before starting wedding day recaps! 😊

Wedding Wednesday: Our Engagement Photos!

     This is a Wedding Wednesday post that I've been very excited to share!! We took our engagement photos in mid-March, but I have waited share them on the internet until our guests had received our save-the-dates in the mail. I feel like there are so few things these days that are truly a surprise, and I wanted our guests to have the magic of seeing our engagement photos for the first time when they arrived in their mailbox. I have no regrets on that, and would recommend to any other brides-to-be as well. 😊

Wedding Wednesday: My Insane Wedding Dress Shopping Story!

       If you had told me a week ago that today I'd be sharing this insane story of how I got my wedding dress, I would not have believed you! I wasn't planning to dress shop until late February. I had actually just made a few appointments at local dress shops and was planning to schedule a couple more this week. But plot twist- I found my dress by total surprise this past Sunday in an incredibly lucky way!! Here's the full story:

I actually didn't up purchasing too much yesterday morning when the sale started, but luckily the fun continues with Lilly adding in new items today and tomorrow. One thing that I did notice yesterday though was how many items I already own and love are included in the sale this year. Lilly Pulitzer Spring 2022 Dresses: Try-On + Sizing Guide! 🌴🌸

     It's been way too long since I've popped over to the Lilly Pulitzer River Road store in Richmond for a try-on session! I was in Richmond last weekend to meet up with a couple friends from Charlottesville, and knew that I had to squeeze in a Lilly Pulitzer store visit while I was up there. One of the many reasons that I love springtime is because it's the annual return of getting to wear most of my Lilly and brightly colored warm-weather clothing items again! So I'm always excited to see the Lilly Spring arrivals each year. 

      I didn't have quite as much time at the store as I usually do (due to a busy and full day in Richmond!), so I decided to focus this try-on just on dresses in the new collection. For sizing reference on this try-on: for my height I am just shy of 5"7, I have a 34C chest, and I typically wear a size 6 in clothing from most brands. If a brand uses letter sizing, I am sometimes a S and sometimes an M- just depends on the fit and the fabric of an item.

My 2022 New Year's Resolutions + Word of the Year.

     New year = new goals! I'm excited to share my 2022 resolutions with you today, as well as my word of the year. And we will also check in to see how my 2021 goals turned out.       I got some great feedback last month after sharing a review of a few Amazon tops for fall, so I wanted to bring you a mini fall dress haul this month. I was excited that I truly loved all three of the dresses that I ordered! Amazon can definitely be sometimes be hit or miss, but these three are all hits.
