So it is kind of interesting how this outfit came together! A couple of weeks ago I had to attend a scholarship luncheon, followed by a radio station tour with the people that I intern with. It was surprisingly chilly in Charlotte that morning so none of my typical dressy sundresses that I would normally wear at this time of year would have worked.
I ended up just mixing and matching some random pieces from my closet to create this fun little outfit! I have had this dress since my freshman year of college and it's still one of my favorites. The front is conservative and the cut of the dress is very flattering, but I love how it's a little open in the back which makes it kind of fun! I have dressed this dress up and dressed it down, and I continue to find new ways to wear it (like with this outfit). Those are the best kinds of dresses- you know you got your money's worth when you can wear something so many times and make it look different each time!
These pictures were taken on top of my favorite parking deck in Charlotte, which is where I do a lot of my blog pictures throughout the year. I'm going to miss this spot over the summer! Today I take my last final exam, and tomorrow my dad and I will be moving me out of my dorm room and then starting the long drive home to Maine! I will only be home for about 48 hours this weekend though before leaving for my first big adventure of the summer. As much as I'll miss the Queens City, I can't wait for all the fun to begin! I can't wait to see all of your travels! One of my options after graduation is moving to Charlotte. I also might move to Austin. Not sure which one yet! Maine is beautiful and it's a great place to grow up in!
